Show Notes

Anita Kranjc is the original founder of The Save Movement, which is a collection of groups around the world who bear witness of pigs, cows, chickens and other farmed animals en route to slaughter. The goals are to raise awareness about the plight of farmed animals, help people become vegan, and build a stronger, grassroots animal justice movement.

On June 22, 2015 Anita Kranjc gave water to pigs in a slaughter truck on the way to Fearman's Pork slaughterhouse, which is located in Burlington, Ontario just outside of Toronto.
On June 23, 2015, the owner of the farm who technically still owned the pigs at the time Anita gave them water, filed a criminal case against Anita.
On September 9, 2015, Krajnc was charged with criminal mischief, the penalty for which ranges from a fine to 10 years in prison.
